Fractal wallpapers in 4K and phone sizes, free to download. None of them is a small picture blown up: each one was computed at the size you take it, by the engine that runs inside Fractaria.

A 3840 × 2160 file here was calculated at 3840 × 2160: every pixel is its own trip through the formula. Enlarging a smaller render invents the difference; computing it finds detail that was never in the smaller one. Zoom in and the filaments are still filaments, not a blur with sharpening on top.
The tall version keeps the same horizontal span and shows more of the plane above and below — the fractal simply continues there. So the subject stays where it was, and the extra room lands where your icons and your clock live rather than cutting the picture in half.
Each one is a preset that ships with Fractaria, exported the way you would export it: pick the size, pick the antialiasing, get the file. Nothing here was made by a model or traced from a photograph — the shape comes from an equation, and the app is where you go to make your own.
